Framed plants and pleached trees give you an instant screen, with no waiting for a hedge to grow. Framed plants are grown and trained flat on a trellis frame, so they arrive as a ready-made section of living screen that can close a gap, hide a bin store or car park, or add privacy along a boundary straight away. Pleached trees are trained the same way but grown on a clear trunk, so the screen sits above head height, ideal for blocking an overlooking window or adding height above a fence or wall while keeping the ground beneath open. Our range includes pleached Photinia x fraseri Red Robin, with its bright red new growth in spring, and pleached cherry laurel for glossy evergreen cover all year, alongside framed Photinia Pink Marble, Elaeagnus and jasmine.
