“I was desperate for help with my out-of-control garden”
For one customer in the Braintree area (CO9) a large garden had grown steadily out of control over two years, a situation made harder by age. Impressed by the Greengrass website, they booked the team for a day. Two friendly faces, Ollie and Dylan, arrived and were not at all fazed by the scale of the job, which immediately put their client at ease. After talking through what was needed, they went straight to work. The transformation was remarkable. Old trellis panels, prunings and rubble were all cleared away, leaving the garden neat and tidy, with beds and borders edged crisply and paths cleaned and clearly defined again.
“Hard working in not an easy job, especially in hot weather”
Having heard about Greengrass, one customer in the Ipswich area (IP2) picked up the phone to us. Nick called back and talked through exactly what was needed, asking for a few photographs before the two of them worked out the best plan of action. The job needed two full days of work, and four members of the team arrived ready to get stuck in. Working through spells of hot, humid weather, they put in such an effort that their client had to stop them from time to time just to make sure they kept drinking plenty of fluids. The customer commented on how polite the team was, and careful to leave everything clean and tidy afterwards, leaving a lasting impression as, in the customer’s own words, “true ambassadors for the company”.
“Excellent results”
An older couple got in touch from Manningtree (CO11) wanting their garden brought up to scratch, so that ongoing maintenance would be easier as the years went on. They found Greengrass friendly and helpful, and appreciated being fitted into a busy schedule with clear communication throughout. Two of our team spent a full day on the job, during a Bank Holiday, and impressed the couple with how hard working, pleasant and knowledgeable they were. The result, in their words, was “amazing”. They were quick to admit it was not the cheapest option, but felt it was worth every penny, and they have since moved on to a regular maintenance contract with the team.
